This family photo session was a true collaboration with my friend, Judy, who I can only describe as one of those remarkable, practically magical people whom you are around, you cannot help but feel excited, energetic, and happy. We met years ago when Judy taught my oldest daughter's preschool class. I am not eloquent enough to articulate just how cool this woman is--but you get the idea when I tell you that when we drove out to this field to check it out for our session, within 2 minutes of our arrival she was chatting it up and making friends with another woman there and, before we left, they were making plans and hugging. Seriously! It sounds trite, but I think making connections is so easy for Judy because she really cares. Which leads me to share her true passion (aside from her very cool family, of course!)…Caring On. Judy is a second time breast cancer fighter. And true to form, Judy is fighting not only for herself, but for others. She has gone beyond her own battle and formed Caring On, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting terminally ill patients and their caregivers by helping these patients thank their caregivers with special gifts. Judy has created an organization that is all about deepening connections and recognizing and sharing love. Please, please take a moment to check out Caring On's website, where you cannot help but feel the love and be inspired. And please onsider supporting Caring On in some way--via a kind note, a Facebook share, volunteering, or a contribution.
