The July 1, 2014 edition of The Inspired Frame photography collaborative is live this morning. We did not have an intended theme for this post, but it is evident that we all are inspired by the glimpses of freedom our children display. Looking at our collective images has me thinking about what freedom means to our kids--kids who are lucky enough to take it for granted. For them, it is as simple as time off from school, long days at the pool, flying on a trampoline, and feeling the wind in your hair. It is baseball, fireworks, and the Fourth of July. But when I pause and look a little further, I see that it is also the freedom to be themselves in a way only being truly loved can afford. The freedom to feel safe, to be happy and sad, to try and fail, and to learn, explore and grow. Ultimately, its the freedom to be who they are and who they dream of becoming. And isn't that what it means for us all. The post can be found here. Please take a moment to check it out and let us know what you think!
