Baltimore City Family Photographer--Family of Four at the Cylburn Arboretum

The thing I love most about photographing families is the opportunity to watch them grow. I met this family several years ago, and this was our FOURTH session together. You can check out their first session HERE, their second session HERE, and their third session HERE. They are such a loving family, with attentive, confident, caring parents and curious, silly, and adventurous kids. This session was my classic mix of some posed group photos, with plenty of fun, candid, and easygoing moments in between.

You’ll notice that each of the last three photography sessions was held in a different location. The family intentionally sought this out to create a unique look for each set of photographs, and I highly recommend it! The natural byproduct is that it creates new opportunities for the kids to explore and have fun—which is my secret to great family photographs. When you take your kiddos someplace novel, or even a familiar place they enjoy, offer them your undivided attention while you explore, play, and make some memories, you can’t help but create opportunities for me to capture beautiful, authentic smiles and genuine family togetherness.

I’d be honored to work with you and your family! Do you have any comments or questions about me or my work? Ready to get the ball rolling on your fall session? Please reach out! I’d love to chat and help you with anything you may need. Not ready to book but want to stay in the loop on special announcements? Sign up for my newsletter HERE.
